Cities Race to the Bottom for Amazon
Amazon announced with great fanfare that 20 cities are finalists for its new headquarters. But the winner will be the loser. That is because Amazon requests and gets huge subsidies of public land and money. I analyzed the grand theft in my latest Black Agenda Report column, Oligarch Jeff Bezos.

No Foreign Bases Conference
The No Foreign Bases Conference is happening January 12 through January 14th in Baltimore, Maryland. We begin with a rally on Friday, January 12 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Centre Street and N. Charles Street.

Today I was honored to appear on the Baltimore based program State of the City with Daren Muhammad. We talked about my latest Black Agenda Report column on the life and death of Erica Garner. We also touched on charter schools, the black misleadership class, commemorating Martin Luther King, the need to resist the democratic party, Obama/Clinton foreign interventions, police killings, Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson duplicity, Russiagate, and the upcoming No Foreign Bases conference.
